WALTON COUNTY, Fla - Northwest Florida authorities now searching for three men involved in home invasion gone wrong.
Walton County Sheriff's office responded to the call from a home healthcare nurse, who was watching the homeowner's 7-year-old disabled child.
The men kicked in the door and knocked the woman unconscious. When the victim woke up, the men zip tied her hands and ransacked the house.
She described one of them as being shorter approximately 280-300 pounds, but he did not speak. The other two were taller and slender. All three of them were covered head to toe in long sleeve shirts, black gloves and masks.
Authorities from Walton and Okaloosa county arrived at the scene with K-9 units hoping to track the men in case they left on foot.
The only thing taken was a large knife from under the homeowner's bed, which was later found in the front yard.
