PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. - Another fundraiser on the beach was the 8th annual Oyster Bash with all you can eat oysters and all for a good cause.
The fundraiser hosted by 'The Man in the Sea Museum' helped raise funds for museum operations and the continued restoration of 'Sea Lab 1'.
Oyster Bash featured of course, all you can eat oysters along with a shuck your own oyster table, marine educational booths and games for the kids.
Tickets for the fundraiser were $30 at the door but organizers say it was all worth it.
"What we do at the museum is not just a historical place to see relics. It's something where people can understand the fundamentals of all the STEM programs that go on. Your science, your technology, your engineering, your math," said Man in the Sea Museum Marketing Coordinator, Jean McDougal
